You’ve probably heard about the importance of breakfast from one source or another, saying it’s the most important meal of the day along with all kinds of other tips, suggestions and specific things you need to eat for breakfast. While it is very important that you don’t skip breakfast in the morning(preferably something healthy but also something you enjoy!), it’s equally important that you don’t skip any meals! You wanna keep your metabolism going all day long by eating frequent healthy meals&snacks. Anyways, these baked breakfast oats are one option for a protein and fiber filled start to the day!
*These ingredients make 5 large servings, each with 8g protein!
*They’re not a super sweet cookie, even though they’re in cookie looking form. It’s more of a hint of sweetness since they we’re originally made for my breakfast!
1/2 Cup Protein powder
1/2 Cup Oats(you can also blend them f you’d rather have oat flour than whole oats)
1/8 Cup Coconut flour
1/3 Cup Honey
1/4 Cup Coconut milk
1.5 Tsp Vanilla
2 Tbsp Flax
1 Tsp Baking powder
1/3 Cup Chocolate chips/raisins/other fruit you like instead
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees before starting.
This recipe works great hand mixed or with a mixer!
-Put all dry ingredients together in a bowl and stir so that they’re mixed together well (oats, coconut flour, protein powder, flax, baking powder).
-You can either get another bowl and stir together all other ingredients besides chocolate chips(eggs, honey, coconut milk, vanilla) before adding them to the dry ones or just pour them all in and mix everything together(you’ll really need to do a good job of mixing here if you choose the second option!).
-After everything is good and blended together pour in your chocolate chips/fruit and stir it in.
-Make into 5 servings and bake for about 15 minutes(possible a little shorter or longer just check them).
