Gorilla Mat Giveaway + Body Weight Upper Body

I’m going to be honest, long before being able to collaborate for this giveaway with Gorilla Mats, I had seen them. I was eyeing them up for a long time. I really wanted one but it was hard to pull the trigger because I am a person that mainly buys things when they are needed, not just because I want it. In my head I had a mat and sadly it wasn’t breaking so I probably should buy a new one. Then we had Noah and I forgot about purchasing pretty much anything besides food and baby things :D.

Finally got my hands on a Gorilla Mat and I’ve been using it for a little bit now and I am so excited to bring you guys this giveaway! I don’t end up doing many on the blog soo just all pumped up over here tonight. Plus, I’ve really enjoyed having this extra huge mat and can’t wait for one of you guys to experience it too!

Giveaway closes 2/3/19

The winner will be randomly selected and win a Gorilla Mat of their choice (has to be in the U.S. or Canada this time).

In case I’ve never mentioned it before (HA!) I love working out at home. It simplifies my day, saves me time and allows for many wild dance breaks that may cause a stir at the gym. One thing that has always annoyed me is carpet. I just don’t like it for workouts. I never have but I’ve always had it in my workout spot. This is why I was looking at Gorilla Mats in the first place. You can get a huge sized mat that allows for a full workout to be done on it. I’ve done upper body, HIIT, and lower body so far with lots of exercise variations and it’s big enough to accommodate all of them and it’s a great thickness as well. Not too squishy but cushioned enough that quadruped or back lying exercises are comfortable.

Soo here’s some real live action on the mat for you! 😀 I know I generally share full workouts here (you’ll see it again in Friday’s YouTube follow along) but, here’s a few of the exercises I used to test out the mat the other day! These are some great body weight upper body exercises that require A LOT of core engagement as well! Be sure to let me know if you give them a try!

12 reps of each for 3 rounds is a great circuit:)
