Deliciously Healthy Chocolate Chip Muffins

Deliciously Easy Healthy Chocolate Chip Muffins. Full recipe on Sugarysixpack.com

Chocolate chip muffins are amazing! But they’re also usually full of sugar, white flour and other ingredients that are good to steer clear of most of the time. With some pre packaged muffins you could even be better off eating a donut! Luckily for you these healthy chocolate chip muffins have none of those things:) Making them a great breakfast or snack any time of the day! So grab you’re ingredients and let’s go!

What you’ll need:
2 cups oat flower(you can just blend rolled oats into powder, it’s cheaper)
2 scoops of your favorite vanilla protein powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1 egg
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp vanilla
2 tbsp honey
3/4 cup chocolate chips

What to do:

-If you don’t have a high powered blender, it’s ok! You won’t need it to make these! They turn out great just stirring by hand.

-Preheat the oven to 350 degrees

-Add oat flower, protein powder and baking soda into your mixing bowl and mix together dry.

-Heat honey until it is liquidy then add honey, water, whipping cream, apple sauce, egg and vanilla to the dry mix and stir everything together until it’s good and blended.

-After all of the other ingredients are mixed well stir in the chocolate chips.

-Distribue the mixture evenly into muffin pans and bake! It should make about 9 medium sized muffins like the pictures above! You may want to use something to ensure that the muffins don’t stick to the pan after they’re done. It should take about 20 minutes for them to bake. You can check them around 16 minutes to see how far along they are, you never know with different ovens!
