The awesome thing about cookie dough(besides the deliciousness) is that you don’t have to bake it! You can just grab it out of the fridge and eat to your heart’s content. The downside is that it isn’t exactly the best thing for you to eat. It’s meant to be cooked first and on top of that it’s loaded with flour, sugar and who knows what else when you buy it from the store. But I have some good news! This Chocolate peanut butter protein cookie dough has all the deliciousness of regular cookie dough without the dangers of raw eggs, sugary overload or flour! Plus it has protein, fiber and whole grains, making it the perfect sweet treat! Can’t get much better than that with dessert! So, let’s get on to the recipe!
1/2 Cup Rolled Oats
1/2 Cup Peanut butter
2 Tbsp Chocolate Chips
1 Tbsp Cocoa powder
1/2 scoop Protein powder
1 Tbsp Honey
This is super simple! Perfect right?
-Get a bowl to mix everything in
-Put all of the dry ingredients(oats, cocoa powder, protein powder) in the bowl and mix them together
-Add peanut butter, chocolate chips and honey and mix until everything is blended together well with no signs of powdery clumps anywhere. It may look like it’s not going to blend all together at first but it will! It just takes a minute.
-You can roll them into little cookie shaped balls or it it straight out of the bowl! What isn’t eaten should be refrigerated but you don’t have to let it set in the fridge before eating them. I will say this recipe is definitely more than one serving but it’s so easy to get carried away eating it:)
