Refreshing Raspberry Peach Tea

Refreshing Raspberry peach tea

Iced tea is a staple for cooling down on any hot summer day and this raspberry peach tea recipe will hit the spot weather you’re at the beach, on the lake or just hanging out at the house! It’s great because the majority of the flavor comes from a natural source, fruit! And if you want to keep it completely natural you can skip the added sugar, go with some honey or add your favorite natural sweetener. The best thing about this tea? It’s so easy to make!

Here’s what you’ll need:

4 Tea bags
1 quart of water
2 peaches
1/2 cup raspberries
2 tbsp of your favorite sweetener

What to do:

-Boil water and steep the tea bags so you can do everything else while this is going on.

-Alright, first real step, you’re going to want to smash up the fruit to get all the juice out. It works best if you peel the peaches before doing this but it’s easy to just put the fruit in a bowl (make sure it’s big enough) and crush them up as best you can. You’ll start to see the juices come out.

-After the tea is done and the fruit juice is squeezed out (well.. smashed or however you prefer to do it) then you’re going to want to use a strainer to pour just the juices into the tea while it’s still hot. The strainer should catch all the pulpy leftovers that you don’t want floating around in the tea!

-Add the sweetener and stir everything together while its still warm.

-If you really want to you can serve it right away with ice but it’s going to get watered down quickly because of how hot it is from boiling the water. It works best if you put the tea in its container and in the fridge to cool before drinking!

And that’s it! You’ve just made a wonderfully refreshing raspberry peach tea! Now sit back and enjoy:)
